参院民主党2号人物 德宾宣布2026不寻求连任参议员

据国家广播公司(NBC)报导，伊利诺州联邦参议员德宾(Dick Durbin)23日（周三）宣布，他将不在2026年寻求连任，结束他在国会长达四十多年的生涯。

德宾是参议院少数党党鞭、民主党团的第二把交椅，也是司法委员会委员。

「决定是否竞选连任并非易事。我真心喜爱作为联邦参议员的工作。但在我的内心，我知道是时候传递火炬了，」德宾在周三的一份声明中说，并在社交媒体上发布了视频。「因此，我今天宣布，我不会在任期结束时寻求连任」。
